How Is the Availability of MEAN WELL Power Supplies Effected by the COVID-19 Pandemic?

The breakout of the COVID-19 pandemic is creating some challenges for the global supply chain for some products.

MEAN WELL did extend the closure of the factories in China after the Lunar New Year holidays. This has meant that there have been some delays in goods arriving in Australia.

However, our MEAN WELL Australia partners hold significant stock and in nearly all cases customers in Australia have seen very little or no disruption to the supply of MEAN WELL power supplies.

Typically, the worst-case scenario has been that the requested item has been out of stock, but a suitable alternative could be supplied.

If you are having problems sourcing any MEAN WELL power supplies, we can take the following measures to help you keep your project / production on track:

  • We can check with our partners to see where stock is located locally.

  • We can check current stock levels at the MEAN WELL factories to see if product can be airfreighted in.

  • We can check to see if a suitable alternative is readily available.

Please do not hesitate to contact MEAN WELL Australia if you require assistance in sourcing an urgently required power supply.
